Up, Up, Up and Away!

It was an absolutely, fantastic, brilliant morning, the birds sweet chirping lingered in the air and the sky was a perfect, pure blue.  I woke up and saw how absolutely perfect the day was, I thought about playing with my new bubble mixture.  So I grabbed my bubble mixture and shot outside like there was no tomorrow.  I started blowing bubbles as if I were a bubble-making machine.  I popped some bubbles and some gently floated away.  On my first attempt to blow a gigantic bubble it worked and I was starting to feel excited, the bubble seemed magical and it was calling me to jump in, so I thought about it, then I jumped in.

At first it was a little tricky to balance but after a while I got the hang of it.  Inside there was a soapy smell and the walls felt smooth and slippery.  The view of the town was glorious.  I suddenly saw my neighbour (with bright blond hair and a smile that would make anyone go “awww”) waving to me.

Duun, Duun, Daaa! It was the scariest thing I have ever seen (well in this situation anyway) “POWER LINES” I thought the power lines would eat my bubble and I would plummet to Earth like a barrelling meteor whizzing through space.  I tried to blow myself away (it didn’t work!).  So I ducked down and prepared for the worst.  I made it, with only nanometres to spare.  I breathed a sigh of relief, but I shouldn’t have as a flock of birds were coming at me.  Arragh! Pop!  Suddenly I found myself plummeting downwards, I knew what I had to do!  I got my bubble mixture and blew a bubble bigger than the universe! The bubble was big, but it did not have the strength of an Olympic medallist so you guessed it, it popped.  I closed my eyes and clenched my fists, expecting the end.  I dropped my bubble mixture.  Suddenly I stopped falling!

I opened my eyes my neighbour had saved me. I felt so grateful because I owed her my life. We floated down to my house, then she blew a bubble and left.  Suddenly my bubble mixture came out of nowhere and I caught it and held it as if it were gold.  I went home and let the wind close the door for me.
